Required Parts for the Audition
- Students are to rehearse and memorize the appropriate monologue below
- Female Monologue - Gladys from Hairball drama female monologue
- Male Monologue - Bradley from Hairball drama male monologue
- While rehearsing your monologue - work on characterization and blocking. Take risks!
- Students are required to find a song from a musical - no radio songs
- Find a song that showcases what you can give to us. Perform it to us - add acting, emotion, into the song, etc.
- We are not looking for exceptional singers. We want to know if you can carry a tune. If you sing along to the radio, you will be fine!!! So take a breath in, it is an easy task!
- Students will be given, on the spot, a situation. Students must respond - short improvisation. The more detail...the better!
- Students will be asked a series of questions about why they choose St. Roch, etc
